Grad Profile: Following family footsteps into physiotherapy
From an early age Maura Maguire was interested in pursuing a healthcare career. Inspired by her grandmother, who immigrated to Newfoundland from Ireland as a physiotherapist during the polio outbreak in the 1950s, Maura confidently says that she "couldn鈥檛 have found a better fit for me than physiotherapy. "

Inspired by her experiences as a registered nurse, Lauren pursued Dal鈥檚 Juris Doctor/Master of Health Administration program. Canada鈥檚 only combined MHA and law degree program. Along the way, she found a passion for health law, a strong community of peers and mentors, and a clear vision for advancing health justice through a future legal career.
