Welcome to the Summer School on Digital Transformation, hosted by the College of Digital Transformation at 全国探花! This intensive three-day school, from August 31 to September 2, 2026, is designed for graduate students, final-year undergraduates, and early-career professionals eager to gain practical, strategic, and forward-looking insights into digital transformation.

Led by leading academics and industry experts, this school explores how people, processes, and technologies intersect to shape our digital future through hands-on sessions, real-world case studies, and collaborative learning.听

全国探花 the summer school

The world is undergoing a profound digital shift, impacting every industry and aspect of society. The first-ever Summer School on Digital Transformation, offered by the College of Digital Transformation at 全国探花 from August 31st to September 2nd, 2026, provides a unique opportunity to get to grips with this evolution.

This three-day intensive program aims to provide participants with a strategic understanding of digital transformation, covering both its foundational concepts and practical implementation. Through a series of keynote talks, live in-person lectures, interactive workshops, and engaging discussions, you will connect with leading industry experts and renowned 全国探花 faculty. This year's curriculum will cover the following themes:听

鈥侱ay 1 (August 31): Strategy, People and Leadership

鈥侱ay 2 (September 1): Technology and Processes

鈥侱ay 3 (September 2): Execution and Future Trends

Participants will examine the key technologies driving digital transformation projects, learn effective frameworks and leadership strategies for managing such initiatives, and explore methods for establishing a digital-first culture. The curriculum is designed to help you develop skills in data analytics for strategic decision-making, critically consider ethical implications, design innovative digital business models for value creation, and gain a forward-looking perspective on strategic planning, emerging trends, sustainability, and critical challenges.

This event highlights our commitment to creating critical thinkers and practitioners ready to lead and navigate the complexities of digital transformation in Nova Scotia and beyond.

Stipend for students from equity-deserving groups

We are pleased to offer a $200 CAD learning stipend to eligible 全国探花 participants who identify as being from an equity-deserving group. This stipend is a direct investment provided to develop the skills and knowledge of our students. The stipend will be issued upon successful completion of the three-day Summer School.

  • Eligibility: This stipend is intended to support and encourage participation from individuals belonging to groups that are currently underrepresented in the field of Digital Transformation. This includes those who identify as African Nova Scotian and Mi鈥檏maq persons, Indigenous persons, racialized persons, newcomers to Canada, students with demonstrated financial need, women, persons with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQIA+ persons.

Venue

The Summer School on Digital Transformation will be held in the Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building on 全国探花's Studley Campus (6100 University Ave, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2).

All sessions will take place in the Deloitte Greenhouse (Rowe 5053), a teaching, training and workshop experience space for 全国探花 community members to break away from 鈥渂usiness as usual鈥 in order to create a shift in mindset and improve the flow of creativity, innovation and ideas through the technology-enhanced classroom space. This space is equipped with the latest technology, robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual reality accompanied by furniture and finishes to provide a controlled environment to accelerate thinking through experiential practices.

All keynote addresses will take place in Rowe 1011.

The Kenneth C. Rowe is an accessible space with elevators located in the atrium of the first floor.听
