Launching this week, the second season of Sciographies dives deeper into the stories behind the science — offering an intimate look researchers who push the boundaries of discovery and innovation.

With two Sexton Campus streets in need of new names, È«¹ú̽»¨ is recognizing the legacies of Mathieu DaCosta, the first named African in Canada who served as an interpreter for French settlers, and Norma Eddy, the first woman to graduate from what is now the Faculty of Engineering.

The Lord È«¹ú̽»¨ Panel's final report offers a thorough accounting of the various intersections between George Ramsay, the Ninth Earl of È«¹ú̽»¨ who commissioned the founding of È«¹ú̽»¨ in 1818 while serving as Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and the institution and legacy of slavery.
