Tigers Weekend Action (Sep. 8)

The Tigers soccer teams had a quiet weekend with only one game each. Joining them in action for the first meet of the season was the women's and men's cross country teams. They raced their opening meeting in Fredericton on Saturday.聽

Women's Soccer聽

Off to one of their best starts in a couple of year, the women's soccer team holds a 3-0-0 record after week two of the AUS regular season. Arianna Rushenas scored her second of the season in the Tigers 1-0 win over the Acadia Axewomen on Friday.聽

The Tigers return to the field on Friday when they travel to Sackville, NB before returning to Wickwire field on Sunday to battle SMU at 1:00 PM.

Men's Soccer聽

The Tigers men's soccer team continues their unbreaten run with a 5-2 win over the Acadia Axemen on Friday. They now hold a 2-0-1 record after the second week of the season. Five different players found the score sheet on Friday.聽

The Tigers return to the field on Friday when they travel to Sackville, NB before returning to Wickwire field on Sunday to battle SMU at 3:30 PM.

Cross Country

The cross country teams headed to New Brunswick this weekend for their opening AUS meet hosted by the UNB REDS.聽Mila Souilliere was the top Tiger, finishing in fifth place in the women's race. Grayson Butler was the top Tiger in the men's race with a seventh place finish.聽

The next meet for the Tigers is their home meet on Saturday, September 20 at Point Pleasent Park. The women race at 12:00 PM followed by the men at 1:00 PM.
